Despite its prominent market position, boasting over 3 million clients and a 50-year history, ASISA encountered a significant challenge in the dynamic digital landscape: maintaining a consistent brand identity across diverse digital platforms. Without clear design systems and digital brand guidelines, ASISA faced the risk of confusing users and diminishing brand recognition, thereby impacting trust, loyalty, and overall competitiveness.

The implementation of a comprehensive design system and digital brand guidelines effectively addressed these challenges by centralizing design elements, streamlining development processes, and ensuring consistent brand presentation. Protocols were established to ensure the uniform application of the digital brand, demonstrated in large-scale projects like the design and development of ASISA's new website.
At the onset, I recognized the imperative for a cohesive design system to unify ASISA's digital expression. Guided by strategic foresight and a collaborative mindset, I led a multidisciplinary team in conceiving, creating, and implementing ASISA Vive, a pioneering design system that serves as the cornerstone of the company's digital identity. Through stakeholder engagement, I navigated the complexities of aligning diverse perspectives and priorities, ensuring buy-in from key decision-makers and driving consensus towards a shared vision.

Central to the project's success was the creation of digital brand guidelines, tailored to embrace a mobile-first approach while championing accessibility and inclusivity. By collaborating closely with the client to define overarching digital strategies and establish robust governance frameworks, I laid the groundwork for sustainable brand evolution in the digital sphere. From defining color palettes to refining typographic standards, every aspect of the digital brand guidelines was meticulously curated to reflect ASISA's ethos while resonating with contemporary digital sensibilities.
As custodian of the digital brand expression, I assumed a pivotal role in shepherding ASISA's digital transformation, ensuring adherence to established design principles and guidelines across all digital assets. Through a structured feedback process, I facilitated seamless communication between designers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement while avoiding bottlenecks and rework.
Ultimately, my involvement in this project helped standarize the digital presence of ASISA by employing a multifaceted approach that involves digital creators, brand managers and other key stakeholders. It was crucial to the project's success developing solutions in a progressive, coordinated and agile manner. As of today I remain the key person of contact for key company-wide digital projects.
